Erica and I hiked/jogged to the summit of Mt. Charleston, which is at 11,988 ft above sea level.  It was a great day, but tough.  We start at about 7000 feet.  It took 3 hrs 25 mins going up, and 3 hrs 17 mins coming back down.

Good times.

That sounds fun. Hey, is that the summit where the mob throws off all their victims?

No, all traditional Vegas mobsters did not have the proper training base, let alone the patience, to spend 4+ hours hiking to 12,000 feet. The alternative was to place cement shoes on various individuals, and teach them to swim in Lake Mead.

Those days are long gone. They moved out of "legal" gambling, into drugs and illegal gambling, some of which can be found in Mesa, Arizona.

Seriously? Oh crud.
